Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Danny King (ranked 4161 p4p, 5617 weight class) and Orlando Ryan (ranked 531 p4p, 604 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Danny King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Orlando Ryan! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ryan dives in and grabs King's left leg, looking for a takedown. King pushes down on Ryan's head and hops out. King misses with a head kick.
Ryan is looking for the big counter here. King goes for a double leg but Ryan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ryan continues to drive forward. Our sources have told us that King has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. King gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Ryan.
King avoiding damage.
King is trying to pull guard but Ryan has him pressed against the cage. King is pressed up against the cage. Ryan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag King down to the mat. King avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Danny King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Orlando Ryan. King takes the fight into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. King breaks the clinch.
King moves into the clinch. King's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
That's one minute gone in the round. King using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
King really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Ryan tries a body shot but King blocks it.
Ryan stalling against the cage.
King unloads a knee to the mid-section. Ryan lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Ryan working hard to break the clinch. Ryan gets underhooks to prevent King's takedown attempt.
King pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. King has Ryan up against the cage in a clinch.
King is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. King ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. King no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. King is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. King wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Ryan manages to pass to side control. Ryan trying to control the pace. Ryan stops King from getting back to his feet.
Ryan seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. King is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Orlando Ryan! A loyal slave to those sponsorship dollars, Orlando Ryan made sure he mentioned Finnish Elite Extreme Science, along with how happy he was to win his fight.
