The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McDade has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

McDade tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Peanut was well out of range. Poor timing from McDade.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Peanut creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
McDade misses with a hook from the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Peanut gets control of McDade's arms and successfully pulls guard. Peanut will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

McDade is posturing up here but Peanut has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! McDade tries to roll out but it's too tight and McDade has to tap! Slick submission there by Peanut!
