Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yuxiang Wu (ranked 1628 p4p, 1662 weight class) and James Yarborough (ranked 252 p4p, 256 weight class). Yarborough has chosen Derezzed as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yuxiang Wu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Yarborough!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Wu with that takedown attempt.
Yarborough displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wu.
Wu fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yuxiang Wu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wu misses with a looping left.
Wu with a poor takedown
and Yarborough makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Wu shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Yarborough but Yarborough pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Yarborough swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A jab from Yarborough finds it's way through Wu's defenses.
Yarborough moves out of range as Wu strikes.
Yarborough appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Yarborough connects with a body shot that sends Wu's belly button to the back.
Yarborough works the jab nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Yarborough throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wu sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Wu looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Yarborough has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Wu is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Wu moves out of range as Yarborough strikes.
Horrible takedown attempt by Wu or perhaps it was just good defense by Yarborough, which made it look bad.
Yarborough getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Yarborough slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Wu is rocked!
Wu misses with a takedown
and Yarborough counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Yarborough drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Wu right on the button. Wu goes down! Yarborough follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Yarborough gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Yarborough!
After winning the bout, James Yarborough thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
