Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anigav Rennid (ranked 4307 p4p, 6359 weight class) and Larry Legend (ranked 534 p4p, 634 weight class). Legend has chosen Long Legged Larry as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Legend bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Legend connects with a leg kick.
A good leg kick by Legend.
Rennid pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Legend closes the distance and clinches.
Rennid is looking to break free of the clinch but Legend has double underhooks.

Legend breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Legend instigates a clinch.
Legend goes for a takedown in the clinch but Rennid prevents it.

Legend wants the takedown. Rennid is fighting it off but Legend persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Rennid's guard against the cage.
Legend controls from within his opponent's guard.

Legend decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Rennid steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Legend.
Rennid stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Legend.
Rennid fails to land with a series of punches.
Legend tries a head kick but it misses.
As Legend backs away, Rennid returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Legend lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Legend throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rennid sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Legend throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Legend looks to land a body kick but Rennid moved away.
Rennid throws a big counter combination but Legend scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Rennid pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That kick from Legend tenderised Rennid's leg. Rennid is trying to keep his angry face on.

Legend takes the fight into the clinch.
Legend's coach down at Big Island Fitness was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Legend's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Rennid is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rennid on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Legend bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Rennid's head.

Legend fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rennid has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Legend lands a really nice looking cross but Rennid seems unphased.

Rennid drops Legend with a beautiful combination! Legend stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rennid is looking for the KO!

Larry Legend seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Legend buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Legend is still on wobbly legs! Can Rennid finish him?
Legend swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Rennid is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Legend flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Legend is out cold! Rennid holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
