Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Forky Fork!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Steve Montenegro and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tidd uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fork.
Tidd drops down looking for a counter takedown but Fork sprawls and moves away.
Fork throws a hook but Tidd avoids it easily.
Fork displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tidd throws out the jab.
Fork fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tidd looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tidd connects with a nice short shot to Fork's temple.
Tidd looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fork with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Tidd stalling away here and it's allowed Fork to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Fork isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Tidd stacks Fork on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Tidd!

Tidd postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Fork on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Fork doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Tidd!
Joe Tidd very nearly forgot to thank The Glue Factory amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
