CACC 195: Ty vs Schultz II PBP Commentary |
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the middleweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 23 wins and 5 losses; Claudio Ty! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 29 wins and 23 losses; Mike Schultz!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Ty bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Ty (4) vs (0) Schultz
Schultz is not content to let Ty control the position.
Ty working away.
Ty wants to lay and pray for a moment but Schultz keeps working.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Ty tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
