Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between David Otunga (ranked 4082 p4p, 4816 weight class) and Jhon Limon (ranked 197 p4p, 228 weight class). David Otunga is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, David Otunga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jhon Limon! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Peter Branson and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Otunga takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Limon misses with a jab, cross combination.
Limon gets tackled into the cage by Otunga. Otunga maintains the clinch. Otunga breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Limon throws a right and a left that Otunga avoids nicely. Otunga tries to counter by clinching up but Limon breaks away and moves out of range. Limon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Otunga moves away. Limon throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Otunga tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Otunga shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Limon cracks Otunga with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Otunga closes the distance and clinches up with Limon, looking for a takedown. Otunga pushes Limon against the cage but Limon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Limon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Otunga is looking to counter the offense by Limon and move into the clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Otunga scores with a takedown into Limon's guard. Otunga connects with a couple of short punches. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Limon is wriggling around but Otunga manages to pass to half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Otunga has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Limon wants to get back to his feet. Limon is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Otunga looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Otunga seems to be working for a kimura but Limon defends the submission attempt. Otunga lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Otunga wants to take a breather but Limon is having none of it. Otunga works his foot free and advances to mount. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Limon can do anything to dispel that myth. Otunga tries to control but Limon wriggling away. Otunga controlling from the full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Otunga won't let Limon get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Limon is trying to stand but he's just given Otunga his back. Otunga working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Limon wants to get back to his feet. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Otunga's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Limon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Otunga. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
