Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rebel Smith!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov moves out of range as Smith strikes.
As Smith looks to move away, Petrov throws a big counter combo but Smith just gets out of the way.
Petrov misses with a hook.
Smith throws a shot to the body.
Smith thows a left - swing and a miss!
It looked like Petrov wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Smith throws a body shot but no joy.
Smith scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Smith misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Petrov.
Petrov on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Petrov takes one to the chin there.
Smith misses the shot to the body.
Petrov has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Petrov takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Petrov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Smith. Petrov does a little dance to reset his feet.
Smith changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Smith cracks Petrov with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Petrov is rocked!
Smith drops Petrov with a huge uppercut! Petrov drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Smith is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rebel Smith!
