Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Geroge Turner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Luke Griffin!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Griffin pinned against the cage. Griffin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Griffin throws out a counter right but Turner avoids it with no problem.
Turner dives in and grabs Griffin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Griffin pushes down on Turner's head and hops out.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Griffin enables Turner to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Griffin manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Turner thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Turner works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Turner is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Turner is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Griffin sees it coming and defends easily.
Turner is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Griffin is just riding it out for now. Turner eventually gives up the hold.
Turner is looking for a kimura but Griffin is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Turner to get the leverage.

Turner in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Griffin tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Turner!
