Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Smith (ranked 6534 p4p, 24596 weight class) and Guiseppe Algiorno (ranked 621 p4p, 671 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Algiorno tries to land a front kick but Smith steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Smith looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Smith sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Smith moves out of range of the body kick from Algiorno.
Algiorno looks to land a body kick but Smith moved away.
Smith changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Algiorno throws the kick towards the body but Smith avoids it.
Oooooh!!! Algiorno has knocked Smith down with a huge combo! Algiorno steps away and waves a wobbly Smith back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Smith is rocked!
It looks like Mike Smith has been cut.
Algiorno plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Smith swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Smith face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
