The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoder dives in and scores a takedown into Santos's guard.
Yoder with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Yoder stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Santos swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Yoder trying to control the position from guard on top but Santos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Yoder throws a big elbow that misses.
Yoder wants to pass the guard but Santos is keeping the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yoder landing with the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yoder wants to stand but Santos has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Yoder throws a sloppy strike and Santos has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Yoder is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Santos!
