Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Barnes (ranked 6507 p4p, 5289 weight class) and Rafael Dos Limas (ranked 677 p4p, 616 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Freddy Barnes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rafael Dos Limas!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dos Limas moves in looking to clinch but Barnes pushes him off.
Barnes shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Dos Limas eats them both and turns towards Barnes to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Rafael Dos Limas has been cut.
Barnes gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Dos Limas gets control of Barnes's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dos Limas will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Barnes throwing strikes from guard but Dos Limas blocks nicely.
Dos Limas can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Barnes controls the pace.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Barnes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dos Limas has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Barnes is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dos Limas.
Dos Limas is trying to work for a sweep but Barnes has mounted him!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Barnes breaks from Dos Limas's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Barnes punishing his opponent with strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barnes looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Dos Limas is rocked!

Barnes unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Dos Limas wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Barnes celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
