Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jewel Diaz (ranked 846 p4p, 691 weight class) and Twea King (ranked 95 p4p, 75 weight class). Diaz comes to the cage accompanied by Andre Nickatina, Drought Season. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jewel Diaz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Twea King!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with King but King pushes him off and we're back to square one.

King moves into the clinch successfully.
Diaz tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Diaz is looking to take this one to the mat.
Diaz has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. King avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

King drives through and clinches with Diaz against the cage.

Diaz is trying to drag King to the mat but King just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
I was talking to Diaz's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Diaz is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that King can do to turn this around?

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Diaz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Jewel Diaz rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
