PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vern Vurris (ranked 1466 p4p, 4045 weight class) and Dark Henry (ranked 63 p4p, 140 weight class). Henry has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dark Henry was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henry misses with a two punch combination.
Vurris moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Henry looks winded!
Vurris misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Henry.

Vurris closes the distance and clinches.

Vurris manages to break the clinch.

Vurris has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Henry clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vurris has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Henry.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Vurris is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Henry is trying to defend against the choke here but Vurris has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Vurris Tightens the hold and Henry taps out furiously! Vurris displays superior BJJ to win the fight.

A very excited looking Vern Vurris rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
