Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jack McAffee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jackson Shaw! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Winston Alpacca and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McAffee misses with a wild combination.
Shaw bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. McAffee throws Shaw to one side and escapes! McAffee looks to land a body kick but Shaw moved away. McAffee throws a jab when Shaw was well out of range. McAffee throws a body shot but no joy. Shaw was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. McAffee swings for the body but Shaw moves out of range.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Shaw has eaten all the pies! Shaw moves out of range of the strikes. Shaw throws a counter combo. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shaw moves into range and clinches up with McAffee. McAffee gets control of Shaw's arms and successfully pulls guard. McAffee will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Shaw postures up in McAffee's guard and throws a big left but McAffee blocks it. McAffee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shaw on the ground. Shaw preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shaw being controlled here momentarily. McAffee will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. McAffee working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Shaw. Shaw trying to control the position from guard on top but McAffee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Shaw content to stall in guard here. McAffee throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. McAffee looking to hit a scissor sweep but Shaw is one step ahead there.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Shaw takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
It looks like Jackson Shaw has been cut. McAffee changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Shaw looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Shaw is trying to improve his position. Shaw is trying to control McAffee's posture but McAffee avoids it. Shaw tries to buck McAffee off but McAffee is having none of it. You can see the frustration on Shaw's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shaw is looking to reverse the position. Shaw manages to get back to half guard. Shaw moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. McAffee looking to pass the guard. McAffee sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Shaw escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McAffee gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. McAffee stopping the sweep attempt from Shaw. McAffee is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Shaw trying to control the position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jack McAffee dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jackson Shaw's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. McAffee avoids the body shot from Shaw.
Shaw closes this distance looking for a takedown but McAffee circles away. Jack McAffee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McAffee blocks the body kick.

and Shaw counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jack McAffee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Shaw avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A swing and a miss from McAffee. McAffee is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Shaw can do to turn this around? McAffee misses with a wild body shot. Shaw shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches McAffee napping and manages to drive through into side control! Shaw trying to control the position but McAffee is working away. Shaw lands a nice forearm strike. You can see the frustration on McAffee's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Shaw stands up. McAffee loads up on a big right hand but Shaw slips the punch. Shaw moves into the clinch successfully.

McAffee misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Shaw.
Shaw swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Shaw is looking for a takedown up against the cage. McAffee gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. McAffee being controlled against the cage. Shaw tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. McAffee smiles and moves away.
Jack McAffee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jackson Shaw.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McAffee misses with a leg kick so Shaw counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Jackson Shaw has got the better of the ground game so far. Shaw trying to control the position from guard on top but McAffee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McAffee managing to control the position. Shaw wants to control from the top but McAffee keeps moving. McAffee looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McAffee utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. McAffee wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Jackson Shaw showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jackson Shaw's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round! McAffee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Shaw was well out of range. Poor timing from McAffee. McAffee misses with a double jab
and Shaw counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Shaw advances to half guard. Shaw is looking to take a break and control but McAffee is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Shaw is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for McAffee! McAffee tries to hold on but Shaw postures up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McAffee is looking to improve his position but Shaw isn't that keen on the idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shaw can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as McAffee is looking to escape. McAffee can't escape the position.
Shaw throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. McAffee can't escape the position.
Shaw unloading with bombs! McAffee is trying to escape the mount.
Shaw wants to control the pace but McAffee is squirming around nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shaw looking for a guillotine from mount but McAffee is having none of it. Shaw trying to control but he's not successful this time. McAffee is looking to improve his position but Shaw isn't that keen on the idea. McAffee is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Shaw misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shaw looking to finish McAffee with some ground and pound. This is bad for McAffee! The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Shaw. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Poor strikes thrown by Shaw there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
McAffee on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if McAffee tries to get out of the position. Shaw wants to finish this one by submission but McAffee is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Shaw. Shaw trying to control but he's not successful this time. McAffee is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Shaw has taken his back! Shaw tries to keep control of the position but McAffee is staying busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shaw keeps control of the position as McAffee tries to break free.
Shaw is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
McAffee controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad spot.
Shaw tries to get the hooks in deep but McAffee pushed the leg off. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Shaw working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
And that's the end of the fight! Jackson Shaw comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Shaw has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
