And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Frank Bigelow!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Wright.
It looks like Frank Bigelow has been cut.
Wright clobbers Bigelow with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Bigelow looks for a takedown but Wright sprawls well.
Wright went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Wright connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
That has opened up Frank Bigelow's cut even more.
Bigelow walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Bigelow limp body while Wright jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Adam Wright!
Adam Wright decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
