Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jan Miocic!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Francis DeMontford and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miocic shoots in and drives through. ST sprawls well.
Miocic tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. ST manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Miocic tries for a takedown but ST circles away easily
and ST counters by clinching up.
ST prevents the takedown attempt.
AU ST has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jan Miocic.
ST breaks from the clinch.
ST closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - ST lands in his opponent's guard.
ST is standing up over Miocic. Miocic looks to escape but ST dives into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
ST is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Miocic is trying to escape and ST transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Miocic is forced to tap! Nice work there by ST! Very nice indeed!
