The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharma dodges the punch combination from Borjigin.
Borjigin throws a nice looking combination but Sharma bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sharma ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Borjigin moves away.
Sharma fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Borjigin manages to avoid it.
Sharma connects with a looping right hand.

It looks like Khunbish Borjigin has been cut.
Borjigin throws an overhand right that lands on Sharma's shoulder, as Sharma tries to avoid the shot.
Borjigin throws a lazy uppercut
and Sharma counters with a stiff right hand.
Khunbish Borjigin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Borjigin tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Sharma is able to avoid easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sharma dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sharma throws a lazy right hand but Borjigin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Borjigin throws a poor cross that misses
and Sharma counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Sharma feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Borjigin sprawling to the canvas! Borjigin rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Sharma finish him?!

Borjigin blocks a jab.
Borjigin throws a lazy right hand but Sharma sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Borjigin lands a lovely overhand right.
Borjigin jabs at Sharma's body.
Sharma throws a body punch but Borjigin moves out of range.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Sharma! Borjigin is out on his feet! Sharma rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Borjigin is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Borjigin is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
