Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ri Zaadha (ranked 687 p4p, 985 weight class) and Yuri Voronov (ranked 114 p4p, 147 weight class). Zaadha comes to the cage accompanied by On A Roll. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaadha throws a hook to the side of Voronov's head but Voronov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
An inside leg kick lands from Zaadha.
A shot to the body from Zaadha misses
letting Voronov counter with a right hand.
Zaadha thows a body kick. Voronov tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Zaadha paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Zaadha lands with a kick to the ribs.
Voronov tries to land a body kick
and Zaadha counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Voronov throws a body shot but no joy.
Zaadha appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

Zaadha takes a swing at Voronov's ribcage but misses.
Zaadha bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

A nice side step and Voronov releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Zaadha throws the left hand but Voronov avoids the punch easily.
Voronov looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Voronov throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Zaadha sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Voronov doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Zaadha throws a hook but Voronov blocks it.

We've been told by Zaadha's head coaches at Academia dos Brasucas that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Zaadha takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Voronov comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Zaadha lands a leg kick that knocks Voronov off balance momentarily.

Zaadha dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Voronov. That did some damage!

Voronov takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Voronov bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Zaadha comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Voronov falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Voronov was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ri Zaadha!
Ri Zaadha seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
