Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Lethal (ranked 2777 p4p, 3706 weight class) and Dominic Trujillo (ranked 381 p4p, 481 weight class). Lethal comes to the cage accompanied by Bloodsport - Fight To Survive. Matt Lethal has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lethal has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Trujillo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Lethal.

Trujillo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lethal has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Trujillo has managed to get both his arms back between Lethal's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Oooh a big shot gets through from Trujillo. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Trujillo gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Trujillo apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Trujillo in particular looking to stall.

Well Trujillo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Dominic Trujillo was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
