Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between HL Mencken (ranked 663 p4p, 689 weight class) and Thiago Araujo (ranked 93 p4p, 96 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thiago Araujo!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mencken throws a big shot that misses.

Nice uppercut lands for Araujo. That snapped Mencken's head back.
Araujo shoots for a double leg takedown but Mencken sprawls well. He's pushed Araujo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
