Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Number (ranked 103 p4p, 246 weight class) and Juha Niska (ranked 22 p4p, 43 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Number might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to This is A Film - Iggy Pop (Goran Bregovič). Juha Niska is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 28 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Number!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juha Niska!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Number closes the distance and clinches.
Niska tries to work over Number's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Niska blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Niska.
Niska misses with a body punch.
Niska pushes Number back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Number definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Niska manages to pull guard.
Niska working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Number.
Number is fighting to break Niska's control of his arms but Niska is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Niska lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Niska pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Number is keeping the position for now.
Number can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Niska controls the pace.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Niska got a little sloppy there for a moment and Number has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Niska has managed to get both his arms back between Number's legs - danger averted.

Niska drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Niska jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Niska slips nicely into half guard.
Number is in trouble now - Niska has advanced to mount!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Number is working to get back to half guard.
Niska forces the positional change into back control.
Niska tries to keep control of the position but Number is staying busy.
Well, with Niska on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Number is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Niska has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Number! Can he survive? No! He's out! Niska gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
