Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Robin Williams (ranked 381 p4p, 469 weight class) and Mikey Day (ranked 22 p4p, 30 weight class). Robin Williams has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Robin Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 20 - 15 - 1, fighting out of New York, Mikey Day! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Day on the wrong end of a nice hook. A telegraphed right hand from Day misses the target. Day scores with a kick to the midsection. Day moves out of range as Williams strikes. Day looks like he wants to counter punch here. Day drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Williams holding on. Williams defending against the ground and pound. Day working the ground and pound but Williams is defending the strikes. Williams is trying to improve his position. Day tries to advance to mount but can't. Williams struggling a bit here. Williams is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Williams can't do much from the bottom here. Day has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Day ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Day stuffs the takedown. That kick from Day tenderised Williams's leg. Williams is trying to keep his angry face on. Williams scores with the left hand. Day knows he should have avoided that one. Day tries to clinch up but Williams circles away and keeps his distance. A telegraphed right hand from Williams misses the target. Day throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Williams was covering up waiting for the punch and Day finishes the takedown easily into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Day showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Williams lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Williams trying to control but Day is working from the bottom. Williams tries to free his leg and advance position but Day is retaining full guard.

Day is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Williams pulls Day in close to his closed guard and prevents Day from doing any damage or advancing position. Day with a nice head shot there. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Williams wants to control but Day passes easily into half guard.

Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round! Williams with a jab. A swing and a miss from Day. Day lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Williams has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Day finds it's way round the side to connect with Williams's head. Robin Williams is winning the standup battle so far. Day obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Day connects with a jab. Day looks to score with a jab to the body but Williams is just out of range. Williams jabbing away but nothing is landing. Williams throws a jab but it's blocked by Day. Day looks to throw the jab but Williams is out of range. Williams throws an overhand right that lands on Day's shoulder, as Day tries to avoid the shot. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Day! But no joy. Day throws a wild body kick that Williams sees coming a mile off. Williams getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Day looking to land some kicks to the body here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Day uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Williams. Day moves out of range of the leg kick from Williams.

Day shoots in and bounces Williams off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Williams bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Day's guard.

Day throwing strikes but missing. Day stands up over Williams, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Day is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Day loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Mikey Day. I've got Day winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
