Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Frame (ranked 2118 p4p, 1765 weight class) and Philo Beddo Ii (ranked 274 p4p, 241 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andrew Frame! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Philo Beddo Ii! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beddo Ii moves out of range of the body kick. Frame scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Beddo Ii doesn't seem bothered though. Beddo Ii closes the distance and clinches. Frame blocks a body shot from Beddo Ii. Beddo Ii swings wildly with an uppercut but Frame uses good head movement to avoid it. Frame lands a shot to the body. Beddo Ii lands with a short shot to the head. Frame has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Beddo Ii creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Beddo Ii tries to land a knee to the head but Frame blocks with his arms.
Frame lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Beddo Ii. Beddo Ii misses with some punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A left hand lands to the body for Frame.

Frame lands a nice uppercut. A short uppercut from Frame. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Beddo Ii looking to throw knees to the head but Frame is blocking nicely.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Frame. Frame looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Frame misses with a punch on the inside.
Frame blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Beddo Ii misses with some punches.
Beddo Ii tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Frame avoids it. Beddo Ii swings wildly with an uppercut but Frame uses good head movement to avoid it. Frame can't break the clinch.

Frame pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Beddo Ii doesn't manage to clinch there - Frame circles away.
Frame uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Beddo Ii. Beddo Ii is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Frame. Beddo Ii misses with a straight right. Frame feinted there with a counter leg kick. Frame fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Beddo Ii. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Beddo Ii ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Frame moves away. It looked like Frame was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Nice body kick there by Frame. Beddo Ii looks winded! Frame paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
It looks like Philo Beddo Ii has been cut. Beddo Ii throws a series of punches but Frame avoids them all with ease. Frame jabs at Beddo Ii's body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frame feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Beddo Ii sprawling to the canvas! Beddo Ii rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Frame finish him?!
Beddo Ii is rocked! Frame lands with a nice body punch. Beddo Ii is still on wobbly legs! Can Frame finish him? Frame misses with a two punch combination.
Beddo Ii seems to have recovered his senses. Frame drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Beddo Ii right on the button. Beddo Ii goes down! Frame follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Frame gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andrew Frame! A relieved looking Andrew Frame thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
