Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Rudd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbi Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rudd comes into the arena with Bob Marley - Get Up Stand Up blaring out of the sound system. Robbi Nakamura acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chris Rudd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Robbi Nakamura!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rudd misses with a series of wild punches.
Rudd stuffs the takedown attempt from Nakamura. Nakamura gets slowly back to his feet.
A combination from Rudd does no damage.
Rudd buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Nakamura closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rudd circles away.
Nakamura looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rudd is fending him off so far but Nakamura persists. Nope, Rudd circles away and we're back to standing.
Chris Rudd has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robbi Nakamura.
Nakamura ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Nakamura.
Nakamura misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nakamura looks to land a left hand but Rudd moved out of range nicely.
Rudd takes the fight into the clinch.
Rudd manages to break the clinch.
Nakamura fails to land the takedown.
Nakamura looks gassed!
Rudd throws a nice looking combination but Nakamura bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rudd sends Nakamura crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rudd is motioning to the referee to let Nakamura up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
It looks like Robbi Nakamura has been cut.
Nakamura checks the leg kick nicely there.
Rudd dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rudd with a dominant takedown and that's winded Nakamura.
Nakamura is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rudd stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Nakamura is still on wobbly legs! Can Rudd finish him?
Rudd could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Rudd drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Nakamura's head, knocking him out cold! Rudd is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chris Rudd!
