Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yes Man Sanchez (ranked 1139 p4p, 1876 weight class) and Scott Hill (ranked 166 p4p, 270 weight class). Sanchez comes to the cage accompanied by Yes - Owner of a lonely heart. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 45 - 29 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yes Man Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 20 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Scott Hill! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hill throws a leg kick which misses Sanchez's front leg but catches the back leg as Sanchez tries to avoid it. Hill throws a body kick that misses. As Hill looks to move away, Sanchez throws a big counter combo but Hill just gets out of the way. Sanchez clinches with his opponent.
Hill manages to break the clinch.
Hill misses with a hook to the body
and Sanchez cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A big left from Hill misses. Sanchez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hill blocks a jab. Sanchez throws a right hand that Hill ducks under and follows up with a left that Hill also avoids with ease. Sanchez listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Hill shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Hill was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hill throwing shots but missing, from side control. Hill tries to advance position but instead Sanchez slips a leg back in to half guard. Sanchez slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Hill has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hill. Sanchez keeping full guard, as Hill tries to pass. Sanchez has a closed guard, preventing Hill from standing up. Hill is looking to work some ground and pound but Sanchez has wrist control. We've been hearing good reports from Sanchez's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Hill working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Hill trying to control the position from guard on top but Sanchez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hill looking to pass the guard. Hill is still trying to improve position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hill looking to sit in guard and control but Sanchez gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Sanchez wants to stand but Hill has a closed guard, so he can't escape. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hill is on top in guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hill working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Sanchez keeping moving, preventing Hill from controlling successfully. Hill tries to free his leg and advance position but Sanchez is retaining full guard. Hill stands and throws Sanchez's legs to the side, diving into side control. Hill advances nicely into full mount. Hill thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Hill lands with some strikes. Hill throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Hill fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hill tries to control but Sanchez wriggling away. Hill in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Hill working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Sanchez is looking to get to half guard. Sanchez wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Hill.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hill with shots to the head and body - Sanchez looks very uncomfortable down there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A nice elbow there by Hill. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hill is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Sanchez has managed to escape the submission attempt.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Scott Hill dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Sanchez blocks a low kick nicely. Hill moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Hill jabbing away but nothing is landing. Sanchez half committed to a counter leg kick. Sanchez walks into a straight right hand from Hill. Hill swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Hill lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Hill throws a leg kick that is checked and Hill takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Hill tries a head kick but it misses.
Sanchez lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hill at a distance.
Hill's corner calls for a 1-2. Hill obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Sanchez misses with a series of wild punches.
Hill with a nice cross. Hill catches Sanchez with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hill lands with a nice combination. Sanchez backs away looking to recover. Sanchez keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hill. Sanchez attempts a counter takedown but Hill avoids it well and moves away. Hill lands a two punch combo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill swings for the body but Sanchez moves out of range.
A head kick misses from Sanchez. Hill throws the left hand but Sanchez avoids the punch easily. Hill explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Hill defending well as Sanchez loads up on a big left hand. Hill misses the jab. A little feinted left hand from Sanchez on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. A big right from Hill misses. Sanchez connects with an inside leg kick. Sanchez gets a clinch. Sanchez lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Hill lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Sanchez lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Hill has had enough of the clinch but Sanchez keeps him there for the moment. Sanchez throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Hill drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Sanchez lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hill is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Sanchez is keeping busy. A short right from Sanchez. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hill breaks the clinch.
Hill takes a swing at Sanchez's ribcage but misses. Sanchez connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hill momentarily.
Sanchez lands a front kick. Hill tried to score with a low kick but Sanchez checks it. Sanchez looks to land a right hand but Hill moved out of range. Hill swings for the body but Sanchez moves out of range.

Hill uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Hill circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sanchez tries to clinch but Hill is having none of it. Sanchez's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hill connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sanchez scrambles back to his feet. Hill lands with a straight right. Sanchez didn't see that one coming. Sanchez throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hill tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Hill checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Hill has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Sanchez stalks Hill and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hill's face. Hill staggers backwards, shaken. Sanchez's corner calls for a 1-2. Sanchez obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Hill looks to land a right hand but Sanchez moved out of range. Yes Man Sanchez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hill throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Sanchez walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Sanchez uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hill. Hill lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sanchez circles away quickly and effectively. Hill misses the shot to the body. Sanchez throws out a token jab with nothing on it. That's four minutes gone in the round. Hill fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sanchez manages to avoid it. Hill misses the shot to the body. Sanchez shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Hill circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sanchez throws a hook to the side of Hill's head but Hill sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Sanchez misses with a wild body shot. Hill fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sanchez manages to avoid it. Hill swinging wildly here.
Sanchez takes the fight into the clinch. Sanchez looks to throw an elbow but misses. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Sanchez just misses with a elbow thrown towards Hill's brow. Sanchez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A big left from Hill misses. Hill scores to the head and body with a nice combination! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Scott Hill will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards. Hill fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sanchez throws a series of punches but Hill avoids them all with ease. Hill throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sanchez. Hill scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Hill throws a lazy uppercut
and Sanchez decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hill's guard. Hill wants to sweep but no luck. Sanchez tries to stand but Hill is controlling from the bottom. Hill throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Sanchez escapes and throws Hill's legs to the side, diving into side control! Hill tries to improve position but can't. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hill is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Sanchez is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Hill wants to control but Sanchez is having none of it.

Sanchez get's back to his feet. Sanchez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hill is looking to clinch. Hill swinging wildly here.
Scott Hill seems to be getting the better of the standup. Sanchez tries a head kick but it misses.
Sanchez misses with a looping right. Hill lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sanchez circles away quickly and effectively. Sanchez scores with a sloppy right hand. Hill should have avoided that one. A looping hook to the body misses from Hill. Sanchez does a little dance to reset his feet. No joy there for Hill, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Yes Man Sanchez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hill lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Sanchez backs up against the cage.
A head kick from Sanchez lands but Hill takes it in his stride.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanchez moves away from the strike by Hill. This has been an exciting period of action! Hill drives through and clinches with Sanchez against the cage.
Hill blocks an elbow strike. Hill is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Sanchez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sanchez throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hill sees it coming and avoids it easily. Hill takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Hill avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hill appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Sanchez doesn't manage to clinch there - Hill circles away.
Sanchez uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hill. Sanchez stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Hill tries to bum rush Sanchez with a series of wild strikes but Sanchez uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Sanchez changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Sanchez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hill throws a series of punches but Sanchez moves out of range. Hill misses with a hook. Hill swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hill moves away. Sanchez tries to clinch but Hill moves out of range. Decent striking displayed by Hill there. A head kick misses from Hill. Hill defending well as Sanchez loads up on a big left hand. Yes Man Sanchez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hill is defended easily by Sanchez. Sanchez throwing a counter right hand but Hill manages to avoid it. Hill misses with a looping left. It looked like Sanchez wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Hill lands with an overhand left. Hill bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sanchez's head backwards. Hill misses with a looping right. Sanchez lands a high kick!
It looks like Scott Hill has been cut. Sanchez misses with a head kick.

Hill throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Scott Hill is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Sanchez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hill circles away quickly and effectively.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Yes Man Sanchez. I think Hill has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
