Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galvao closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Galvao postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Femme is looking for a sweep.
Femme is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Galvao tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Galvao has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Femme pulls Galvao in close to his closed guard and prevents Galvao from doing any damage or advancing position.

Femme had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Galvao defends it easily.
Femme controls Galvao momentarily but Galvao frees himself.
Femme really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Galvao. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Femme wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Galvao manages to pass to side control.

Femme holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Galvao is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Femme!
Femme prevents any damage by holding on tight.
Galvao has control of Femme's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Femme regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Galvao looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Galvao sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Femme is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Femme bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Femme is looking to work some ground and pound but Galvao has wrist control.
Galvao looking for a triangle here. Femme is fighting it but it looks tight! Galvao pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Femme is tapping out - this one is all over!
