Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Anthony Cirelli!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bastard on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Nice defenses there by Cirelli.
Bastard has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Rabid Dog in the buildup to the fight.
Cirelli is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bastard.
Bastard misses with a double jab
and Cirelli counters with a crisp right hand that drops Bastard! Cirelli lets Bastard back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Bastard is rocked!
Cirelli slips under a jab.
Cirelli throws a big counter head kick but Bastard avoids it with no problem.
Oh Bastard is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cirelli throws out a leg kick but Bastard moves out of range and Cirelli only half commits.
Lazy Bastard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bastard swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Cirelli connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bastard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A slapping leg kick lands for Cirelli.
Cirelli throws a big shot that misses.
Bastard throws a right and a left that Cirelli avoids nicely.
Bastard throws a sloppy body shot
and Cirelli counters with a nice right hand that sends Bastard toppling to the canvas! Bastard scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Cirelli finish him?!
A telegraphed right hand from Bastard misses the target.
Cirelli steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bastard.
Cirelli looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Bastard throws a predictable looking body shot
and Cirelli counters with a nice right hand that sends Bastard toppling to the canvas! Bastard scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Cirelli finish him?!
Bastard lands a jab to Cirelli's midsection.
Cirelli misses with an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bastard wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Bastard misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cirelli only half commits to the counter leg kick.
We've been informed that Cirelli has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Bastard looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Cirelli lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Cirelli lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Cirelli uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Bastard throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Cirelli! But no joy.
Bastard leaves his chin hanging out and Cirelli seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Bastard crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Anthony Cirelli was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
