Van Der Dusse attempts a counter takedown but Giroud avoids it well and moves away.

Giroud misses with a looping right.
Giroud tries to work over Van Der Dusse's front leg with a kick but Van Der Dusse checks it.

Van Der Dusse leaves his chin hanging out and Giroud seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Van Der Dusse crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

After the fight, Bastien Giroud was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
