Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Lewandowski (ranked 6393 p4p, 4695 weight class) and Conor Cejudo (ranked 666 p4p, 564 weight class). Conor Cejudo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Robert Lewandowski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Conor Cejudo! The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cejudo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lewandowski. Lewandowski shoots in and drives through. Cejudo sprawls well. No luck with that takedown attempt from Lewandowski. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Lewandowski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cejudo clinches up against the cage. Cejudo pulls guard. Lewandowski postures up in Cejudo's guard and throws a big left but Cejudo blocks it. Lewandowski trying to control but Cejudo is working from the bottom. Lewandowski throws a big right hand that misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lewandowski trying to control the position from guard on top but Cejudo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cejudo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. That's one minute gone in the round. Cejudo is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. It looks like Cejudo might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Cejudo stuffs the takedown. Cejudo shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lewandowski napping and manages to drive through into side control! Cejudo controlling the position from side mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lewandowski wants to control but Cejudo postures up. Cejudo tries to advance to mount but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cejudo is staying tight to Lewandowski's torso, preventing him from escaping. Cejudo is trying to ground and pound but Lewandowski uses the momentary lack of control by Cejudo to regain half guard. Cejudo is thwarting Lewandowski's attempts to control the position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Lewandowski manages to get to full guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Cejudo shoots in and gets a takedown into Lewandowski's guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lewandowski looking to control.
Cejudo content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Conor Cejudo dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Lewandowski throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Cejudo tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lewandowski is in Cejudo's guard. Cejudo wriggles free and stands up. Lewandowski dives in and grabs Cejudo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cejudo pushes down on Lewandowski's head and hops out. Cejudo shoots in and bounces Lewandowski off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Cejudo trying to control the position from guard on top but Lewandowski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cejudo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Lewandowski wants to sweep here but Cejudo controlling him for the moment. Lewandowski is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lewandowski is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Cejudo trying to stand up but can't free himself from Lewandowski's guard. Cejudo advances position into side control! Lewandowski is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Cejudo tries to score with some ground and pound. Lewandowski controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Lewandowski manages to get back to half guard. Lewandowski gets full guard. Cejudo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Cejudo engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Cejudo postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cejudo missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Cejudo looking to sit in guard and control but Lewandowski gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Lewandowski scoring with punches to the head and body. Lewandowski stands up over Cejudo, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Cejudo looking for a sweep. Not yet Cejudo, not yet. Cejudo has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Cejudo is breathing heavily. Lewandowski is in close to Cejudo's body, working some short punches and elbows. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lewandowski pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cejudo is keeping the position for now. Lewandowski with a nice head shot there. Lewandowski drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lewandowski jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Lewandowski scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lewandowski with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Lewandowski is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Cejudo is trying to control the position but Lewandowski postures up. Lewandowski lands a couple of digs. Cejudo is pulling down on Lewandowski's head to control his posture. Cejudo is trying to keep Lewandowski in close.

Robert Lewandowski dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards. Cejudo stuffs the takedown. Cejudo gets the takedown into side control. Lewandowski gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Cejudo is trying to work for a kimura but Lewandowski is defending well.

Cejudo is rocked! Lewandowski drops a couple of huge strikes from the back position and Cejudo is in real trouble here! Lewandowski lands more strikes and the referee has to step in to end the fight! Lewandowski is delighted!
