Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tran Quaach (ranked 5236 p4p, 6972 weight class) and Gretchen Alexander (ranked 640 p4p, 766 weight class). Gretchen Alexander has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tran Quaach's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tran Quaach!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gretchen Alexander!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Dean Styles and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quaach gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Alexander to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Alexander tries to free his leg and advance position but Quaach is retaining full guard.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Alexander closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Quaach's guard.
