Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Affectionately Eve (ranked 6928 p4p, 24486 weight class) and Rico Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rico Salvacion has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Affectionately Eve's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Affectionately Eve!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rico Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Salvacion looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Eve!
Eve is not content to let Salvacion control the position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Eve is trying to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Eve is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Salvacion is looking to take a break and control but Eve is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Salvacion controls the position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Eve is trying to control Salvacion's posture but Salvacion avoids it.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Salvacion shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Eve counters with a lovely straight right hand!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Eve shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Eve stands up out of the half guard.
Eve stuffs the takedown.
Salvacion scores with a takedown into Eve's guard.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Eve manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Eve's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Salvacion shoots in looking for a takedown. Eve tries to sprawl out of it but Salvacion keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Eve manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Eve was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Affectionately Eve has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rico Salvacion.

Eve fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Eve closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Eve takes a little break here. Salvacion wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Eve tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Eve stands up and beckons Salvacion to his feet.

Eve throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Salvacion's waist but Salvacion gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Eve off to one side.
Salvacion replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Eve blocks it well.

Eve is looking to escape.

Eve on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Eve tries to get out of the position.

Eve keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Eve is not content to let Salvacion control the position.
Eve kicks off Salvacion and gets to his feet.
Eve is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Salvacion can do to turn this around?
Salvacion gets caught napping as Eve dives in and scores a takedown. Salvacion manages to retain guard.
Salvacion is trying to keep Eve in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Eve's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Eve gets to his feet - Salvacion follows without any prompting.
Salvacion is trying hard to land a takedown here. Eve sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Eve leaves Salvacion with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Salvacion throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
And Eve counters with a quick kick to the body but Salvacion blocks it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Eve looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Salvacion is fending him off so far but Eve persists. Nope, Salvacion circles away and we're back to standing.
Salvacion is trying to counter with his kicks.
Eve shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Eve performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Eve tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Affectionately Eve dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Salvacion will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Eve shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Eve was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Eve stands up.
Salvacion misses with a takedown attempt
and Eve counters with a head kick. That will keep Salvacion thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Eve wants to stand but Salvacion is controlling his posture from full guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Eve changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Salvacion tries to avoid it but Eve manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Salvacion to the ground. Salvacion escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Salvacion throws a fast counter high kick but Eve manages to duck under it in time.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Eve fails to land the takedown.
Salvacion looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Rico Salvacion has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Affectionately Eve is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well Eve has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
