Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Salvacion (ranked 23613 p4p, 24323 weight class) and Poison Ivy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruno Salvacion had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 1, fighting out of New York, Bruno Salvacion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Poison Ivy!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Lou da Vinci and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Salvacion looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Salvacion scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ivy pushes Salvacion away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Salvacion gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ivy can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Ivy closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ivy lands in his opponent's guard.
Ivy wants to stand but Salvacion has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Salvacion is trying to keep Ivy in close.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ivy looks to land a body kick but Salvacion moved away.
Salvacion attempts a counter takedown but Ivy avoids it well and moves away.
Salvacion shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ivy counters with a head kick.
Salvacion tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ivy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Salvacion somewhat.
Ivy steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Salvacion jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Horrible takedown attempt by Salvacion or perhaps it was just good defense by Ivy, which made it look bad.
No luck for Salvacion with that takedown attempt.

Ivy shoots in for a double leg but Salvacion sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Salvacion throws a quick counter kick to the body but Ivy avoids it.
Ivy scores with a takedown into Salvacion's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Salvacion controls Ivy momentarily but Ivy frees himself.
Ivy stands up and waves to Salvacion to follow him.

Salvacion moves out of range as Ivy throws a body kick.
Salvacion looks for a takedown but Ivy sprawls well.
A little jabbing left from Ivy on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Ivy gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Salvacion to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Ivy is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Salvacion dives into side control.

Ivy is pushing down on Salvacion's leg trying to pass to half guard. Salvacion is fighting to maintain full guard but Ivy has managed to sneak the leg through.
Ivy is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Ivy has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Ivy looks to land a strike but Salvacion avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Ivy content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Ivy is continuing to stall.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Ivy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Salvacion swivels and escapes.
It looked like Salvacion was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Ivy.

Nice sprawl there from Ivy as Salvacion shoots in.

Salvacion shoots in looking for a takedown but Ivy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Salvacion's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Ivy bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Poison Ivy is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Ivy decides to stand back up. Ivy steps back and let's Salvacion get back to his feet.
Bruno Salvacion has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Ivy leaves Salvacion with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
And that's the end of the fight!
Poison Ivy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ivy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
