The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Kelly counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Kelly throws a jab but it's blocked by Smith.

and Kelly counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Smith ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Smith misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Kelly counters with a crisp one two that drops Smith! Kelly thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Smith to his feet! Smith is in big trouble!

Kelly fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Smith looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Kelly throws a hook to the side of Smith's head but Smith sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Smith seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
