The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shepard shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Shepard showed some decent athleticism there.
Ice tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Shepard manages to move to mount!
Ice really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shepard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Shepard thowing shots but they're missing.
Shepard unloads with some shots from mount but Ice bucks and avoids them well.
Ice looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Ice is trying to escape the mount.

Shepard postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ice looks a forlorn figure.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Shepard! Ice is hurt baaadly! Shepard is firing away with more strikes - Ice is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
