PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Joseph Watson (ranked 1709 p4p, 1376 weight class) and Andrew Frame (ranked 229 p4p, 184 weight class). Watson comes to the ring accompanied by Anarchy in the UK. On his way into the ring it seems that Paul Joseph Watson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Paul Joseph Watson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul Joseph Watson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andrew Frame!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frame throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A little feinted left hand from Watson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Frame throws a jab when Watson was well out of range.
Watson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Frame misses with a looping right.
Frame misses with the combination.
Frame falls off balance throwing a combination
and Watson counters with a lovely shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frame scores with a jab to the head.
Frame waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Watson.

Frame misses with a wild body shot.
Watson moves out of range of the body kick from Frame.
Watson shoots for a takedown but Frame saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Frame throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Watson counter with a right hand.
Frame has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Nice body punch from Watson.
Frame lands with a straight right. Watson didn't see that one coming.
Frame swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Watson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Watson showed some decent athleticism there.

Frame tries to kick Watson off but Watson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Watson wants to free his trapped foot but Frame is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Watson wants to control but Frame is keeping him busy.
Frame is trying to stand back up but Watson is controlling him
Watson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Frame knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Watson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Frame keeps working.
Frame tries to kick Watson off but Watson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Frame wants to control but Watson is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Frame throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Watson counters with a left and a right that stings Frame.
Frame lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Watson at a distance.
Frame throws the left hand but Watson avoids the punch easily.
Watson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Watson moves out of range of the body kick.
An attempted straight right counter from Watson misses the target.
Frame throws a body shot but no joy.
It looked like Watson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Andrew Frame seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Watson plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Frame lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Watson. Frame does a little dance to reset his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Frame throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Watson works the jab nicely.
Frame fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Watson is out of range.
Watson swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Watson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Frame throws a hook but Watson avoids it easily.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Frame throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Frame connects with a jab.

Watson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Watson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Watson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Frame keeps working.
Frame regains half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frame is trying to stand back up but Watson is controlling him
Frame is looking for a sweep. Watson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Frame manages to get to full guard.
Watson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Frame swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Watson wants to control from the top but Frame keeps moving.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Frame won't allow Watson to sweep him here.
Frame has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Frame tries to stand but Watson is controlling from the bottom.

Frame got a little sloppy there for a moment and Watson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Frame has managed to get both his arms back between Watson's legs - danger averted.

Andrew Frame is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Frame lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Frame swings for the body but Watson moves out of range.
Frame throws a body shot but no joy.
Frame misses the jab.

Frame lands a lovely overhand right.

Watson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Watson lands with a right hand.
Frame tests Watson's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Watson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As Frame backs away, Watson returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

and Watson finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Watson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

I would just about give that final round to Andrew Frame.
I've got Frame winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
