Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Sparxx (ranked 35 p4p, 14 weight class) and Yardbird Knox (ranked 6 p4p, 3 weight class). Knox comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Now's The Time | Charlie Parker kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Yardbird Knox acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knox tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sparxx was well out of range. Poor timing from Knox.
Sparxx on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
It looks like Gary Sparxx has been cut.
Sparxx's jab looks to have found its range, popping Knox under the eye.
We've been told by Sparxx's head coaches at Desert Fitness & Training (14 Elite Coaches) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Sparxx scores with a nice head shot.
It looks like Yardbird Knox has been cut.
Knox takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A low kick from Sparxx misses
and Knox connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Knox ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Knox lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Sparxx misses with an uppercut
and Knox counters with a huge left! Sparxx is in big trouble! He's backing up but Knox isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Sparxx from any more damage. A dominating finish by Knox!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yardbird Knox!
A very excited looking Yardbird Knox made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Gary Sparxx spoke after the fight, saying 'Give me a couple hours, and I will meet you all at the dance floor!'.
