PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jay Simon (ranked 161 p4p, 183 weight class) and Miami Vice (ranked 30 p4p, 31 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Vice's choice of entrance music: Vice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Miami Vice!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simon scores with a nice head shot.

That was a close round but I would say that Jay Simon will probably get the nod.

and Vice counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Simon out cold! What a finish! Vice is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

After winning the bout, Miami Vice thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
