With a record of 31 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Edson Bidon Barbosa!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbosa attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
A shot to the body from Barbosa misses
and Ho Joy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ho Joy slips a jab from Barbosa.
Ho Joy has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Lab in the buildup to the fight.
Ho Joy drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Barbosa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ho Joy moves away.
It looked like Ho Joy wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A slow jab from Barbosa misses its intended target.
Barbosa misses the shot to the body.
Ho Joy throws a hook but Barbosa blocks it.

Ho Joy avoids a kick to the body.
Barbosa looks to land a combination but Ho Joy avoids it well.
Ho Joy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ho Joy is looking to counter punch.
Ho Joy takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ho Joy wants to slow Barbosa down by chopping away at his legs.
Barbosa tries a quick counter leg kick but Ho Joy is wise to it.
Barbosa connects with a crisp jab.

and Ho Joy counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Barbosa throws the left hand but Ho Joy avoids the punch easily.
An attempted straight right counter from Ho Joy misses the target.
Barbosa thumps Ho Joy with a low kick.
Ho Joy uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Barbosa.
Ho Joy seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Barbosa moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Barbosa scores with a push kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barbosa walks into a stiff left hand from Ho Joy.
Barbosa throws a sloppy head kick and Ho Joy moves out of range easily.

Barbosa looks for the body kick but Ho Joy saw that one coming.
Barbosa misses with a wild body shot.

Oooooh!!! Barbosa has knocked Ho Joy down with a huge combo! Barbosa steps away and waves a wobbly Ho Joy back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Ho Joy is rocked!

It looks like Do Ho Joy has been cut.
Barbosa drops Ho Joy with a straight right hand, right on the button! Barbosa follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

After winning the bout, Edson Bidon Barbosa thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
