Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Esa Kettu (ranked 998 p4p, 1335 weight class) and Radio Active (ranked 137 p4p, 178 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Active's choice of entrance music: For Heavy Metal we will die!. Radio Active is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 27 - 20 - 3, fighting out of New York, Esa Kettu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 20 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Radio Active! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Kettu. Active does a little dance to reset his feet. Active is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Kettu rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Active connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Kettu moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Radio Active has been cut. Kettu cracks a nice hook into Active's ribs. Active takes one to the side of the head.
Kettu throws a series of punches but Active moves out of range. A jab from Kettu misses. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Active! But no joy. Kettu fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kettu throws a nice looking combination but Active bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Active throws out a counter right but Kettu avoids it with no problem. Active gets cracked there but stands up to it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kettu misses with a straight right. Decent striking displayed by Kettu there. Active uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kettu.
And Active tries to counter it with a takedown but Kettu pushes his down on his head and steps out. Kettu scores with the left hand. Active knows he should have avoided that one. Kettu throws a body shot but no joy. Active with the counter takedown but Kettu avoids it easily. A decent looking cross lands there for Kettu. Kettu misses with a body shot
and Active cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Esa Kettu has been cut. Kettu swings and misses with a hook to the body.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Active! But no joy. Esa Kettu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kettu connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Active's hands. Jab from Kettu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kettu throws a lazy right hand but Active sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A nice side step and Active releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Kettu lands a really nice looking cross but Active seems unphased.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Active avoids the body shot from Kettu.
Kettu lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Left hook, right uppercut from Kettu.
Active is rocked! Kettu closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Active! Kettu dives in looking to finish! Active is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Esa Kettu! Our winner, Esa Kettu, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
