Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bjorn Cloudsen (ranked 4278 p4p, 4583 weight class) and Tom Fast (ranked 489 p4p, 514 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bjorn Cloudsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Tom Fast!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fast staying out of range there.
Cloudsen manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fast on his heels. He'll look to pass Fast's guard now, I'm sure.
Fast has his feet on Cloudsen's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Cloudsen clinches up with Fast and pushes him back against the cage.
Cloudsen with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Fast stops a takedown attempt from Cloudsen.
Fast escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fast circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cloudsen has closed the distance and engaged Fast in a clinch.
Cloudsen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cloudsen takes a swing at Fast's ribcage but misses.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cloudsen shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Cloudsen is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Fast sees it coming and defends easily.
Cloudsen content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Fast trying to hold on to Cloudsen's head to control him but Cloudsen postures up.

Fast wants to improve his position but Cloudsen is controlling well.
Cloudsen is nestled in close to Fast, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Cloudsen seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Fast is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Bjorn Cloudsen!
A very excited looking Bjorn Cloudsen rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
