The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick lands for Slaissi.
Slaissi shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Goebbels eats them both and turns towards Slaissi to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Ludwig Goebbels has been cut.
Slaissi checks a low kick from Goebbels.
Goebbels takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Slaissi lands a nice shot to the body.
Goebbels looks winded!

Goebbels walks into a left hand.
Slaissi throws a leg kick which misses Goebbels's front leg but catches the back leg as Goebbels tries to avoid it.
Slaissi scores with a nice head shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Slaissi rushes Goebbels and presses him up against the cage.
Slaissi will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Goebbels up against the cage.
Goebbels's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
A right handed body shot lands from Slaissi.
Slaissi lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Slaissi presses Goebbels against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Slaissi lands a right hand.

A nice left hand lands by Slaissi.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Slaissi lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Goebbels is still on wobbly legs! Can Slaissi finish him?
Slaissi dips a shoulder and cracks Goebbels with a mighty uppercut! Goebbels falls back against the cage and Slaissi unloads with a barrage of strikes! Goebbels is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Slaissi screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
