Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Takashi Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddie Mcloud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Mcloud's choice of entrance music: Llama song. Freddie Mcloud told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Freddie Mcloud!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcloud will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Drake avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mcloud lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mcloud.
It looks like Takashi Drake has been cut.
Mcloud tries to close the distance and clinch but Drake swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Drake really is a fat lump.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mcloud looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mcloud looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Drake working for a triangle but Mcloud defends it easily.
Drake is trying to control the position but Mcloud postures up.

Drake is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Drake is breathing heavily.
Drake throws his legs up looking for a submission but Mcloud uses it to pass to side control.
Drake tries to buck Mcloud off but Mcloud is having none of it.
Mcloud tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mcloud has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Mcloud trying to control the action but Drake is working from the bottom.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Mcloud might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Drake kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mcloud controls the position.
Drake tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Mcloud trying to control the position but Drake is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Drake tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mcloud wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Drake tries for a takedown but Mcloud circles away easily
and Mcloud counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Drake is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Drake fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Mcloud gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Drake moves into the clinch.
Mcloud tries to pull guard but Drake won't allow it.
Takashi Drake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Freddie Mcloud.
Mcloud is trying to maintain a safe position but Drake gets an underhook and turns Mcloud into the cage.
Mcloud is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Drake pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Drake as Mcloud tries to tie him up.
Drake tries to pull guard but Mcloud holds him up against the cage and eventually Drake drops back down to his feet.

Drake is trying to break free.
Mcloud avoids a wild elbow strike from Drake.
Drake misses with a punch on the inside.
Mcloud fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Drake gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Drake is keen to just control but Mcloud is a slippery customer.
Mcloud has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Drake is working away from the top position though.
Drake seems to be working for a kimura but Mcloud defends the submission attempt.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Drake trying to pass the guard but Mcloud defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Freddie Mcloud dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Takashi Drake's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Mcloud throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Drake stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Mcloud lands with a kick to the ribs.
Mcloud moves in looking to clinch but Drake pushes him off.
Mcloud drives through with a takedown into guard.
Mcloud controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Mcloud tries to free his leg and advance position but Drake is retaining full guard.
Mcloud would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Mcloud postures up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Mcloud wants to get up but he can't break Drake's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Mcloud wants to control from the top but Drake keeps moving.
Mcloud pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Drake is keeping the position for now.
Drake throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mcloud wants to clinch.
Drake misses with a takedown
and Mcloud counters with a head kick. That will keep Drake thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
A right-left combo lands from Mcloud.
Mcloud lands with a nice body punch.

Mcloud lands the left hand.
A head kick from Drake lands but Mcloud takes it in his stride.
Drake takes a kick to the side of the head.
Mcloud gets the takedown into side control.
Mcloud laying and praying for a moment but Drake takes advantage and regains half guard.
Drake wants to get back to his feet.
Mcloud moves nicely into side control.
Drake manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

The fighters are battling for position here. Mcloud manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Drake decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Mcloud misses with a takedown
and Drake counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Mcloud!
Drake trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Mcloud can't escape the position.
Drake looking to isolate an arm here. Mcloud doesn't see it coming and as Drake extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Drake!
