Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goudey's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Goudey duly obliges.
Rose shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Goudey pinned against the cage. Goudey gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Goudey shoots for a double leg takedown but Rose sprawls well. He's pushed Goudey's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Goudey is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Rose presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Goudey can do anything to dispel that myth.

Goudey has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rose can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well Goudey has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
