Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenan Kimblo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyler comes to the cage accompanied by Anthem for the Underdog. Jake Tyler has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimblo scores with a kick to the body.
Kimblo steps into range and cracks Tyler with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Tyler flops backwards and Kimblo dives into his guard looking to finish!

It looks like Jake Tyler has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kimblo would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Kimblo tries to free his leg and advance position but Tyler is retaining full guard.
Kimblo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Tyler is proving hard to escape from.

Kimblo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tyler is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kimblo, into his guard.

Tyler drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kimblo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tyler has Kimblo in his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kimblo stands up and waves to Tyler to follow him.
Kimblo throws a sloppy head kick and Tyler moves out of range easily.

Tyler shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Kimblo is looking to stand up but Tyler isn't so interested in that idea.

Kimblo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Tyler is controlling him.

Tyler drops back looking for a leg! Kimblo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kimblo manages to kick Tyler off! Tyler jumps back into Kimblo's guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Kimblo looks to score with a jab to the body but Tyler is just out of range.
Kimblo tries a head kick but it misses.
Tyler tries for a takedown but Kimblo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Tyler looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kimblo is fending him off so far but Tyler persists. Nope, Kimblo circles away and we're back to standing.
Kimblo keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Tyler drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Kimblo wants to get back to his feet.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kimblo can do anything to dispel that myth.

Tyler decides to stand back up.
Kimblo fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tyler.

Tyler shoots in but no luck this time.
Tyler takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Tyler shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tyler showed some decent athleticism there.
Tyler seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kimblo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Kimblo has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Tyler. Oh but Kimblo has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Tyler goes limp - he's gone! Kimblo jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
