The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salim tests Adesanya's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Anderson Adesanya has been cut.
Adesanya throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Salim counters with a good low kick that Adesanya was not able to check.
Adesanya wants to clinch.
Salim tries a head kick but it misses.
Adesanya gets tackled into the cage by Salim. Salim maintains the clinch.
Adesanya tries to land knees in the clinch but Salim avoids the damage to the body.
Salim works on Adesanya's body with a couple of short punches.
Adesanya connects with a nasty looking knee right to Salim's face.
Salim pulls guard.
Adesanya is sitting in close to Salim's body. Salim has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Adesanya is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Adesanya is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Salim.

After the fight, Aidamir Salim was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
