Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luke Neer (ranked 2909 p4p, 2565 weight class) and Ezekiel Broomsdale (ranked 429 p4p, 381 weight class). Neer comes to the cage accompanied by Back In Black. Broomsdale has chosen Masta as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Broomsdale moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Broomsdale looks for the body kick but Neer saw that one coming.
Neer seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Broomsdale throws a head kick that Neer semi-blocks.
Broomsdale with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Neer looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Broomsdale is fending him off so far but Neer persists. Nope, Broomsdale circles away and we're back to standing.
Broomsdale throws a right hand that Neer ducks under and follows up with a left that Neer also avoids with ease.
Broomsdale pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Neer misses with a hook to the body
and Broomsdale connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Broomsdale throws a big shot that misses.
Broomsdale lands with an uppercut that bounces Neer off the cage and back into range.
Broomsdale throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Broomsdale throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Broomsdale delivers a nice body kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Neer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Broomsdale.

and Neer counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Neer controls from within his opponent's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Neer has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Broomsdale to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Neer is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Broomsdale pulls down on the head and he's put Neer to sleep! This one is all over!
