The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kongo stalks Kuula and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kuula's face. Kuula staggers backwards, shaken.

Kongo pushes Kuula up against the cage in a clinch.
Kongo lands a knee to the body.
Kongo stalls.

Kongo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kuula really is a fat lump.

Kongo gets a clinch.
Kongo lands a nice knee to the body.
Kuula is breathing heavily.

Kongo ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kongo no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kongo avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Kongo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kuula. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kuula passes Kongo's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Kuula looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Kuula in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Kongo tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Kuula!
