Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Juan Dee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samson Ransom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dee comes into the arena with One Dimension blaring out of the sound system. Samson Ransom is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juan Dee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Samson Ransom! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ransom fails with the takedown. Dee changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ransom looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ransom is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Dee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ransom keeps working. Ransom is looking to reverse the position. Dee sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Ransom is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Ransom is not content to let Dee control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ransom gets back to half guard. Ransom tries to get to full guard but Dee has control of the leg.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Dee gets in close and instigates a clinch. Ransom changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Dee fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Ransom shoots and misses so Dee counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Juan Dee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Samson Ransom. Dee trying to control but Ransom is working from the bottom. Dee thows a big elbow that misses. Dee forces his way into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ransom tries to roll over but Dee keeps him under control. Nice strikes from Dee there. Dee is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Dee controlling the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Dee is trying to control. Ransom wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Ransom trying to control from the bottom.
Dee seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Ransom is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Juan Dee!
