Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Horace Cuba (ranked 768 p4p, 19914 weight class) and Oscar Meyer (ranked 95 p4p, 709 weight class). Horace Cuba could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Oscar Meyer's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Horace Cuba! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oscar Meyer! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cuba is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
It looks like Horace Cuba has been cut. Meyer fails with a takedown attempt. Meyer darts in looking for a takedown but Cuba gets double underhooks and turns Meyer into the cage. Cuba throws a hook but Meyer avoids it easily. Cuba gets a clinch. Meyer jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cuba walks away with a smile on his face. Meyer gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Horace Cuba has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oscar Meyer. Meyer keeps the fight on the outside. Cuba looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. An inside leg kick lands from Meyer. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cuba takes a body punch but keeps moving. Cuba avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Cuba throws a hook but Meyer avoids it easily. Meyer throws a big counter head kick but Cuba avoids it with no problem. Cuba swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Meyer gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Cuba. Meyer has closed the distance and engaged Cuba in a clinch.
Cuba has Meyer pushed against the cage. Meyer tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Cuba just stands there and leans against the cage. Cuba tries to stall but Meyer uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Cuba clobbers Meyer with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Horace Cuba is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. No joy there for Cuba, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Meyer fails with a takedown attempt. Meyer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. As Meyer looks to move away, Cuba throws a big counter combo but Meyer just gets out of the way. Meyer has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Meyer there as he acknowledges the shot. Cuba is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Meyer can do to turn this around? Meyer darts in looking for a takedown but Cuba gets double underhooks and turns Meyer into the cage. Cuba has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Cuba leaves Meyer with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Cuba is looking to counter the offense by Meyer and move into the clinch. Horace Cuba has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oscar Meyer. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Cuba uses from the top position. Cuba stays in close to Meyer's body and controls the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Meyer wants to hit a sweep here but Cuba passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Meyer there! Meyer keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Horace Cuba showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cuba, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
